Holy Anointing Oil Silent Auction

On By benebellIn Magical in the Mundane, personal spirituality, promotional10 Comments

I’m offering by silent auction the remainder from the large batch of holy anointing oil I crafted specifically for the SKT Vitruvian decks. What’s left after anointing the decks is five (5) one ounce (1 oz.) amber glass bottles with glass eye droppers that we will offer by silent auction. All details below.

My purpose for anointing every deck was to clear it of any malefic or potentially baneful energies in the material and to energetically protect it for the rest of the deck’s lifetime.

You can use this oil to consecrate and bless any object or space intended to be sacred. Every time you perform a space clearing, after you’re done, anoint the corners of that space (four corners or eight corners, depending on your preferred approach). Anoint your altar tools or ritual tools with this oil. Anoint talismanic jewelry intended to be used for personal protection from malefic or baneful forces.

Do-It-Yourself SKT Pocket Notebooks

On By benebellIn free download, Magical in the Mundane, Spirit Keeper's Tarot, tarot, tarot community3 Comments

This is a 2.75″ x 4.25″ saddle-stitch notebook you can easily make yourself from 3 sheets of loose print paper, 1 sheet of adhesive sticker paper for printable labels (these are typically free from UPS or FedEx), scissors, a stapler, and a corner rounder is optional.

I like this DIY pocket notebook because it’s easy to make at home, doesn’t require any specialty tools or expensive materials, and most important of all, fits in the back pocket of your jeans or easily with a pen in your jacket pocket. That makes it really convenient to travel with.

SKT 3″ x 5″ Tarot Stickers (Template Download)

On By benebellIn free download, Magical in the Mundane, personal spirituality, Spirit Keeper's Tarot, tarot, tarot community5 Comments

These are free downloads of SKT tarot sticker templates. Each sheet consists of a three-card reading that’s a form of energetic intention setting. You can print these out in color (sepia tones) or grayscale (if your printer only has black ink).

The following templates are formatted to print on the 3″ x 5″ blank rectangle labels by Avery, Label No. 94213. You can order the blank rectangle label stickers directly from Avery here. Direct from Avery, 10 sheets (that’s 30 tarot stickers in total) go for $8.00 plus $3 flat rate shipping, so $11 for 30 tarot stickers. That’s not too bad. It’s not great price-wise, but not too bad. Also, the more sheets you order, the more economical the price.

After you print out one of the selected sheets of tarot stickers (each sheet consists of three cards), start with the left-most card. Place the fingertips from your dominant hand on the tarot image. Close your eyes, relax your breathing, and focus your thoughts on the specific goal you want to achieve or what it is you want to manifest. Visualize that goal coming to fruition.

Then transform that visualization into light. Intuit what color light such a goal, outcome, achievement, or manifestation would be if it was in the form of light energy. Send that beam of colored light from your head, down through your arm, out the fingers of your dominant hand and send it into the tarot image, feeling yourself press that energy into the card.

Repeat for the center card. Repeat again for the third to the right. Take your time. Do not rush the process. Remain calm, confident, and self-assured from beginning to end.

I like to affix these stickers onto the glass of three white pillar candles. Set these three candles out somewhere meaningful to you. Every time the candles are burning, the powers and beneficent forces of the selected cards are activated and sending those energies into your space, enriching your environment.

Planetary Lithomancy by Micki Klein

I can’t fully convey to you how excited I am about Micki Klein’s Planetary Lithomancy divination set. A while back she had launched a crowd-funding campaign over on Kicktraq to self-publish the divination set, but sadly it did not gain the traction it absolutely deserved. I wish she had reached out to me at that time to help her signal boost, because I would have promoted the heck out of this! I’m so in love with what Klein has created. This YouTube video, “Planetary Lithomancy” by Micki Klein, explains the divination system pretty well.

I confess that I got to tinkering with the divination system before even opening its companion guidebook, but don’t worry– I’ll be reviewing it with the guidebook and getting to Klein’s approach. First, my own. =)

As soon as I saw the board with the astrological houses and keywords, as an astrology enthusiast I felt I immediately knew how to operate this thing. I was so excited by the concept I didn’t even continue rummaging in the kit that Klein had sent me. Instead, I ran upstairs and started picking out gemstones all on my own, from my personal stash, for the seven sacred planets and two of the main Hermetic Lots.

Reading the Akashic Records with the Tarot

PLEASE NOTE: The following content only represents the downloadable handouts from an in-person live master class presented at the 2019 Masters of the Tarot Conference at the Omega Institute. No online equivalent to that master class is included here, and what’s accessible is just those supplemental handouts and a copy of the PowerPoint.

What are the Akashic Records? Are there special requisites before gaining access? What are its origins?

My presentation at the 2019 Masters of the Tarot Conference will be an exploration of the origins of the Akasha from an Eastern perspective.

From there, let’s consider how tarot is a microcosm symbolic of the Akashic macrocosm.

Cultivate Qi and How to Strengthen Your Life Force: Essential Guide to All Metaphysicians

On By benebellIn Bell Chimes In, feng shui, free download, Fu talismans, gemstones and crystals, holistic food, holistic horoscopes, I Ching, I Ching The Oracle (book), Magical in the Mundane, personal, personal spirituality, Tao of Craft (book)16 Comments

This is the supplemental post for Bell Chimes In #39, which you’ll find on my YouTube channel. Check out all previous Bell Chimes In episodes here.

Most Eastern esoteric paths espouse that a practitioner of any esoteric art should proactively cultivate and strengthen the personal Qi, or life force, because when you do any form of intense metaphysical work, you’re drawing from that pool of personal Qi. If you’re not mindful of replenishing that Qi, then the constant weakening of your life force from the occult work that you do (this includes divination) can cause physical and mental health concerns. So to maintain optimal wellbeing–and that’s physical, mental, and psychic-spiritual wellbeing–cultivation practices are necessary.

The Metaphysician’s Qi

Divination, ceremonial ritual, mediumship, channeling, pathworking, spell-crafting, astral journeying—these practices are believed to exhaust a lot of your personal life force, and so as a metaphysician, you want to establish a routine practice of cultivating and strengthening your Qi, or life force, to maintain your wellbeing. Otherwise, you can become more susceptible to illness, both of the physical and mental variety.

Taking measures to cultivate and strengthen personal Qi is a practice everyone and anyone can benefit from, much like how everyone and anyone should be mindful of nutrition and physical exercise. However, the nutritional needs of your everyday office worker is very different from the nutritional needs of an Olympic swimmer. So we can make the comparison here of an occultist to the Olympic swimmer, because it’s considered an out-of-the-ordinary lifestyle, and so your nutritional needs– in this case psychic-spiritual nutritional needs– will be different from the average person.

Let’s cover six ways a metaphysician can cultivate Qi:

  1. Qi Gong
  2. Basic Meditation
  3. Diet, Herbology, and Traditional Chinese Medicine
  4. Warding Your Living Space
  5. Ancestor Veneration
  6. Beneficence

Investor’s Oracle Deck (A Free Download)

On By benebellIn divination, free download, Magical in the Mundane, oracle deck21 Comments

Introduction

The Investor’s Oracle is a simple and straightforward 25-card divination deck for equity markets, printable at your standard playing card size, or 2.48 in. x 3.46 in. (63 mm × 88mm).

The idea for creating this deck came about at a dinner table when the Hubby and several of our friends, who are also either financial analysts or avid investors in the stock market, were talking about the volatility of the market (I say that like I have any idea what that even means…) and how at this point, a monkey with a dartboard can do better at making investment decisions than the veteran analysts.

Innocently, I raised the question, well, head to head who do you think would do better? The witch with zero experience in the stock market who relies on her Craft or the veteran analyst.

That night I got to work on crafting my own divination deck to compete, me versus Hubby. He’d use his sound experience as a veteran analyst while I would literally pick a card from my divination deck and make investment decisions based on my pick. 9 times out of 10 I didn’t even know what the ticker symbols Hubby was giving me stood for.

Hubby continued to test me and was rather amused at how “accurate” some of my decision-making was. And then eventually, because it was getting eerily consistent (and we were literally reaping in the financial gains on my “crapshoots”), it wasn’t fun and games anymore and he hijacked the divination deck for himself.

Free Download

There’s nothing innovative or special about the deck structure itself. There are only 25 cards and if you can read English, then you can work with these cards competently. No learning curve involved.

UK Tarot Conference: Tarot as a Key to the Underworld

On By benebellIn cartomancy, conferences, divination, Learn the Tarot, Magical in the Mundane, personal spirituality, Sightsee the Tarot, tarot, tarot community, tarot exercises3 Comments

The Underworld is a projection of that psycho-spiritual realm beneath the waking state of this material plane. It’s a collective unconscious that subsists below physical reality. Different laws of physics and different natural laws apply in this psycho-spiritual realm, which in psychological terms, is simply to say we are not who we are in these subterranean realms. What happens in the Underworld, stays in the Underworld… though we’ll take back with us memories of those experiences, sensations, and life lessons.

During the Friday evening presentation, I wasn’t able to get to all the slides and information I had planned, due to timing, but in this PowerPoint download, you can see everything I had intended on talking about. Some of it may not be useful without the actual live narration, but I hope at least the main topic points are perceivable from the slides.

Video for a Guided Tarot Reading

I’ve produced a video recording that you, in a group of tarot readers, can play, watch, and follow along for a guided tarot reading. This guided tarot reading facilitates a descent into a deeper, meditative state of consciousness to do a divinatory reading with the tarot that will help you to retrieve insights from your inner underworld and to return with soul fragments healed.

The video is set to “unlisted,” which means only those with the direct URL link has access. At this time only attendees of the 2018 UK Tarot Conference have access to this URL.

Any single attendee at the UK Tarot Conference is free to use and share this video with others, who are non-attendees, for the purposes of sitting in a group–where that Conference attendee is physically present– to go through the guided meditative tarot reading session. In other words, if you want to try this guided reading again with a group of your friends, even if none of those friends attended the Conference, so long as you’re part of that group, go ahead and work through this video with your buddies.

Yes, feel free to download the video and save it in your personal archives. There are external apps and sites that let you download a video from a YouTube hyperlink and I’m totally okay with you doing that.

Attendees: If you would like to save the link access to the guided Katabasis Tarot Reading and the supplemental handout, then please download them and save to your archives before November 1, as I will be deleting this post after that date. Access to these files are exclusive to 2018 UK Tarot Conference attendees only.

AND YES! Please feel free to talk openly about any part of the seminar’s content publicly, share publicly any insights you attained during our time together, or even share screen shots, quotes, or any fair use amount of snippets from the content I’ve provided here for any public conversation you seek to have about this seminar or the UK Tarot Conference.
