Divination, Spinoza’s God, Theology, the HGA
How I conceptualize a distinction between divination and fortune-telling; how Manichaeism can be instructive on concepts of the Holy Guardian Angel, what do I think the Holy Guardian Angel is anyway; theology with the SKT; Spinoza’s God and being Buddhist; Gnosticism and Buddhism.
If you’re interested in parsing out fortune-telling vs. divination further, I have for your consideration a 30-minute free lecture published back in 2017: “A Comparative Analysis of Fortune-Telling and Divination.”
The Empyrean Court (Tarot Court Cards)
A focused lecture on the Empyrean Court, or court cards from the SKT. I don’t get into the cultural and theological descriptions of each card illustration, however; all of that is in the Book of Maps. Instead, this video focuses on card interpretation.
Tarot and the I Ching with the SKT
Considered one of the oldest divination systems in world history, the I Ching is, at its core, a sacred text that empowers a practitioner. When you understand the I Ching as philosophy, you attain wisdom both of your inner self and of the cosmos. When you understand the I Ching as an expression of the Divine, you attain access to an incredible tool for communing with that Divinity.
The Spirit Keeper’s Tarot introduces a system for divining with both the tarot and the I Ching.
If you’d like to deep-dive into a study of the I Ching from an occultist’s standpoint, you may be interested in my online course, “I Ching and the Practitioner: A Course on the Book of Changes.”
Practical Readings with the SKT: Demonstrations
I demonstrate how I would do practical readings with the Spirit Keeper’s Tarot deck. This is a long video, so check the timestamps in the description box if you’d like to skip around and just watch what interests you.
To improve my own reading skills, especially reading for others as a professional tarot reader, by far what helped me out the most was watching other professional tarot readers at their craft. That’s why, as long and boring as this video might be, I thought it was important to include.
I am also providing written reading case studies in the form of a PDF download: Written Readings with the SKT: Examples.
SKT and Esoterica: Mystical Paths with the Tarot
Some chatty-chat about the SKT, exploring topics the occult practitioner might be interested in. What do I mean when I say “inner temple”? Some of my thoughts on astral journeying and pathworking. How the SKT is a tarot system created by an occultist for occultists.

- “Know Thyself with the Tarot” Worksheet (pdf)
- Outer Mysteries: Court Cards | Pip Cards (jpgs)
- Inner Mysteries: Major Arcana (Traditional) | (Modern) (jpgs)
In the “Written Walk-Through of the Workshop” website link above, after the instructions that accompany the video tutorial, the exercise continues with a more in-depth exploration of your whole chart, assessing all twelve houses.
For the in-depth exploration, work with the below handout. The Written Walk-Through will guide you through the exercise.
Artist Flip-Through of Her Own Tarot Deck, Part 1: Major Arcana

Artist Flip-Through of Her Own Tarot Deck, Part 2: Minor Arcana, Upper Realm
Listen to commentary about each card from the voice and perspective of the artist who created the deck. This video is a flip-through of the seven provinces of the Upper Realm in the Minor Arcana (the Empyrean Court, Aces, Twos, and Threes).
Artist Flip-Through of Her Own Tarot Deck, Part 3: Minor Arcana, Lower Realm
Listen to commentary about each card from the voice and perspective of the artist who created the deck. This video is a flip-through of the seven provinces of the Lower Realm in the Minor Arcana (Fours through Tens).
Divination and Creative Journeying with the SKT
The first part of this video is a guided divinatory exercise using creative visualization or journeying techniques. Then I talk about how I personally approach this exercise.
My Soul Deck, Spirit Keeper’s Tarot; Hekate, Serket, et al.
A soul deck– whut? Let’s talk about that.
The latter chunk of this video is just me reading to you straight out of the pages of the Book of Maps. But every video will come with timestamps in the description box, so you are free to skip around.
