We got behind schedule in terms of when to place our purchase order with the manufacturer. And as some of you already know, Lunar New Year is basically an entire blackout month of no production. That means if you don’t start something until after the Lunar New Year, you’re effectively now one month behind schedule.

My plan was to place our order and at least get the uncut sheet samples in hand before Lunar New Year, and then production would happen, and then we’d be on target for March and April mail-out delivery.

However, now it’s more likely April to May mail-out delivery of your pre-ordered decks.

The second printing will be a run of 2,664 decks. I know that seems random. It’s because the number divides into 8 (for the 8 orders) 333 times. 3 + 3 + 3 = 9. 2 + 6 + 6 +4 = 18, 1 + 8 = 9. It’s the eight trigrams connected to the 9 heavens / 9 palaces magic square.

“benebell wen” is printed lightly at the bottom because that’s where I’ll autograph the cards. =)

Btw, I kinda wanna figure out how to provide a platform or network or some way for people to reach out and socially connect – should they choose to – with other people around the world who have decks from the same Order as theirs. (!!!) How cool would that be!

I just can’t figure out how. If you have any ideas, please share them!

Also, both the LWB and the Book of Maps have been updated. The LWB is now 88 pages. Because I want you to be able to use the LWB in tandem with the cards, almost as a form of bibliomancy. And I want both the LWB and Book of Maps to be educational, to be worth your while to read.

I think I may be down to choosing between one of the above three card back designs. It’s a matter of color saturation now. With the gold edging, I think this color palette for the card back is going to look quite refined. ❤ Or at least that’s the hope.

To anyone wondering, what’s with all the yellow gold all of a sudden. Yah I dunno. I’ve just been really into an ornate gold filigree vibe as of late.
