This write-up will provide an overview for how to use the digital files you’ve been sent, assuming you’re reading this because you’ve ordered the SKT Vitruvian Mini digital printables.

Instructions for Printing

and Assembling the SKT Vitruvian Mini

Knuckle provided for size reference. Note here I rounded the corners. The above are the SKT Mini cards printed in grayscale. You can also print the same files in color for the sepia-toned version. You’re going to be printing out a total of 80 cards, printed back and front (double-sided), with each card approximately 1.24″ x 2.13″ in size.

Next you’re going to print out a template for a foldable box. It’s going to be for a two-piece top and bottom lid box, just like the SKT First Edition and SKT Vitruvian, though here the box will resemble the SKT Vitruvian.

You have two options for the box: the Simple Version and the Fancy Version. I started off by making the Fancy Version and having that just be the one single template for you to work with. However, I got the most non-crafty, non-artsy person I know to follow my directions and try to assemble the box. He was not able to do so successfully, so I had to go back to the drawing board and I came up with the Simple Version. I gave him the Simple Version instructions and this time, success! He managed to produce a lovely mini tarot deck box with my Simple Version.

However, to make it “simple,” there are a few sacrifices in the realm of aesthetics. That’s why I offer both Simple and Fancy. If you really care about the aesthetics of the box, then you should definitely use the Fancy and figure it out. If you don’t and just need a damn box to store your mini cards in, then go with the Simple.

The final fully assembled box will be 1.5″ x 2.25″ x 0.75″ in dimension.

Finally, the printable files include a miniature Little White Booklet of prayers from various traditions around the world. The Mini LWB is the same size as the cards and tucks nicely into the Mini Deck Box.

What’s contained inside the Mini LWB?

You can download the larger 2.75″ x 4.75″ PDF version of the Mini LWB so that the text is legible. (However, the actual Mini LWB that goes with your Mini SKT is going to be approximately 1.24″ x 2.13″.)

For those who’ve ordered the + $5 SKT Mini add-on, you’re going to get an e-mail with hyperlinks to all the Dropbox files. Click on the link and in the column of icons way to the right edge of your browser, you’ll see an icon of three dots (…). Click on it and more options will open up.

Of the options in the drop-down menu, you’ll see “Download.” Click on it to download the PDF to your desktop computer.
