A Personality Assessment Quiz

I recently stumbled across the following three personality assessment questions. I didn’t come up with these, though the expression of the ideas are my own. You may have seen one or all of these before, but here they are again:

Which shape are you drawn to: Circle, Square, Triangle, or Squiggle Line?

CIRCLE Optimist. Artistic and expressive. Spiritual. A communicator. Intellectual and philosophical. You pursue understanding.
SQUARE Organizer. Planner. Structured. A precisionist. Detail-oriented. Perhaps you view yourself as a triangle, but others see you as the square. You pursue order.
TRIANGLE Leader. Executive. Aggressive. Confident. Decisive. You pursue power.
SQUIGGLE LINE Innovator. Creator. Original thinker. Dynamic. You pursue fame.

Do you prefer to live near the sea, atop a mountain, on a farm, in a big city, or in the jungle?

NEAR THE SEA You value energy, spirit, and a sense of humor.
ATOP A MOUNTAIN You value aesthetics, artistry, and fortitude.
ON A FARM You value kindness and generosity. Rational in thought.
IN A BIG CITY You value that which benefits you. You value utilitarianism.
IN THE JUNGLE You value independence, diversity, spontaneity, and adventure.

On the table there’s soup, salad, bread, vegetables, and dessert. Disregarding propriety, which dish would you prefer to go for first?

SOUP Principled. Respects social rules and regulations.
SALAD Traditional. Conservative. Prefers the classics.
BREAD Embraces the ups and downs that come. Rolls with the punches.
VEGETABLES Gratitude for your blessings. Practical.
DESSERT Unconventional. Fun-loving. Needs freedom. Free-spirited.

Me? I’m a Square who would like to live on a Farm and even if propriety didn’t matter, I would go for the Soup. Basically, my responses to the three questions all confirm that I am straight-edged and uptight.
