NOTE: The following PDF conversions from the text came out grainy and in a low resolution. Apologies. Rest assured that I have seen the actual book and it does not look grainy and low-res like this in the actual book or the Kindle version.

When I’m deciding on whether to get a particular nonfiction book or not, I want to scan its table of contents. So here you go.

Chapter 1 | Tarot Analytics: A Holistic Approach. (Click to download PDF)

I think reading Chapter 1 [and its corresponding end notes] will give you a sense of where I’m coming from and how I’m approaching tarot practice. If this chapter doesn’t resonate with you, then you’ll probably not want to buy my book, and I’ll be very bummed about it, but I do want to be fair to you and not misrepresent.

From Chapter 9 | Cyclopedia of Card Meanings.

What’s a tarot book without card meanings? I know, seasoned readers are rolling their eyes, but I promise the card meanings section takes up only 20% of the book. That’s right. It’s not even a quarter of the book. And yet I devote at minimum 2 pages to each card, covering both traditional and modern interpretations of the card with symbol by symbol correspondences in the RWS imagery (admittedly, this is not going to be as helpful if you’re not using the RWS).

I found this website about 2 weeks ago and was immediately fascinated! I read every post here and downloaded every PDF which I read avidly. I ordered your book last week and it was delivered this morning. I’ve read so many books over the last 40 years and have dipped into even more .. Holistic Tarot is now top of my recommended list .. up there with just one other which is 78 Degrees of Wisdom by Tarot Goddess, Rachel Pollack. Many congratulations Benebell, your book is essential reading for anyone thinking to read tarot. I’ll look forward to your future publications. L x

Can you provide more explanation to the CASE STUDY: CASSIDY found in Chapter 15 | Consideration of the Spread Landscape

—– “The Significance of Suits” | “Elemental Dignities” | “Elemental Dignities in the Minor Arcana”

    on page 440-441.

    1. Does impotence, or an ineffectual use of the corresponding energies mean the two elements having a neutralizing effect cancel out each other?
    2. How do we know the work is likely to be creative and innovative in nature, when there aren’t any fire elements in place?

Holistic Tarot is such a great book. For a beginner, I hope there is a discussion group or forum for readers to post their thoughts. I have some questions when reading the book. It would be great if I can discuss them with other tarotists, tarot enthusiasts and the author.

    Cheers,

    Marie S.
