Free Major Arcana Download

A 30-card version of the Spirit Keeper’s Tarot Vitruvian Edition is provided for free download. This deck features “The Initiate” card for Key 0: The Fool only (rather than providing three options for Key 0 that the 2018 First Edition and 2019 Vitruvian Edition full decks had), the Major Arcana cards, the four Aces, and the four Archangels (tarot Kings).

The 24 Elders

In the Biblical Book of Revelation, or the Apocalypsis, the Hall of Initiation is described as containing the Throne of God, around which are seated twenty-four Elders. In front of the Throne are the four living creatures—a lion, an eagle, a calf, and the fourth has the face of a man.

Working with that allegory, the twenty-four Major Arcana Keys that make up the Spirit Keeper’s Tarot are the twenty-four Elders that will reveal the Throne of God to you. They represent a path of initiation that lead to the unveiling of Mysteries.

The twenty-four Majors here are Keys 1 through 21, plus the three Key 0s, for a total of 24 Keys, or the 24 Elders.

The four Aces signify the Four Sacred Relics and the four Archangels are the four living creatures, transformed, around the Throne.

The purpose for which these Keys were designed is to unveil the Mysteries and accompany you along your path of initiation, revelation, and to attain knowledge of and interaction with Divinity.

The 31 digital image files (30 cards + 1 card back design) are formatted with bleed margins for cropping. That way you can upload the images to a third-party print-on-demand site to order a physical copy for yourself.

This 30-card deck can be used for ritual coloring as a mode of initiatory revelation, crafting talismans, occult study, and divination. Entries from the Progress Diary include ideas and inspiration for what you can do with these image files.

I like to print certain cards out on self-adhesive paper, cut them to size, and affix them to glass-encased pillar candles to make my own altar or ritual candles. You can craft journals and booklets with cover pages featuring one of these illustrations or your colored-in, creatively adapted version of one of these illustrations. Apply your magic and empower one into a talisman that you can carry around with you in your wallet.

In other words, if you color in one of these black & white images and then sell your colored in SKT image, please make it clear in your product description that I am the artist for the black & white image while you are the artist for the coloring application. If you have traced part of my original art and then redesigned it, transforming it from the original, please include a note about what parts were my original and what parts you’ve redesigned and transformed. I say “my preference” because if you unintentionally forget to do that, I’m not going to be mad at you. =) But just please try not to forget.

While this license is free, if you do commercialize your SKT-based work, I’d be beyond thrilled to receive some merch! =) Send to the below address.
